• 1981 – 1987 studied philosophy at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
  • 1987 obtained master’s degree with the thesis “Koncepcja teologii racjonalnej u Wilhelma z Conches” [William of Conches’ Conception of Rational Theology], written under the supervision of Rev. Prof. Marian Kurdziałek.
  • 1989 – 1995 studied English language and linguistics at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
  • 2002 doctorate in philosophy; the doctoral dissertation “Epistemologiczne i metodologiczne podstawy krytyki poznania teologicznego u Wilhelma Ockhama” [Epistemological and Methodological Assumptions of William Ockham’s Critique of Theological Knowledge] was written at the seminar of Rev. Prof. Edward Iwo Zieliński OFMConv.

Medieval and renaissance culture and philosophy, in particular:

  • St. Anselm of Canterbury’s thought,
  • John Duns Scotus’ ontology,
  • William of Ockham’s thought,
  • personality and thought of Erasmus of Rotterdam,
  • personality and thought of St. Thomas More.
