Marek Czachorowski, PhD
- Born in 1956 in Stalowa Wola.
He studied theological and philosophical studies at the Catholic University of Lublin, where he got MA in Philosophy in 1984 ("Responsibility And a Human Being by Roman Ingarden", under guidance of Fr. Prof. Tadeusz Styczeń) and PhD in Philosophy in 1997 ("Karol Wojtyła's Position In The Dispute Over Love As a Criterion of Contraception" - the promoter: Fr. Prof. Tadeusz Styczeń). Since 1988, he has worked at KUL, currently as a lecturer in the Departament of Ethics. From 1999, a lecturer in the Institute of Family Studies at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University. Married, three children.
- A corresponding member of Pontificia Academia Pro Vita (since 1996). A member of the Polish Society of Thomas Aquinas and the Scientific Society of the Catholic University of Lublin.
- Main research areas: sexual ethics (especially the issues of contraception, divorces, homosexuality, sexual pedagogy and feminism), ethics of life (abortion, euthanasia, death penalty), Karol Wojtyła's anthropology and ethics; moral aspects of positive law.
