Anna Słowikowska, J.C.D. - Associate Professor

 

Education Background

She graduated I High School in Puławy.

From 2004 to 2008 she studied Canon Law at the John Paul II Catholic University of  Lublin  Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration. She gained a Master's Degree on the 21th of May 2008 with honors, based on the work titled:  Celebration of the Eucharist in the Apostolic Exhortation Sacramentum terms Caritatis, written under the guidance of Rev. Stanisław Tymosz hab. JCD, University Professor. Following the submission of the BA examination in Canon Law on the25th of June 2008. In 2005-2010 she studied Civil Law at the John Paul II Catholic University of  Lublin  Faculty of Law, Cannon Law and Administration. On the 15th of June 2010 she gained a Master’s Degree based on the work titled: The principle of co-operation of church and state in the documents of Vatican II and the Polish Constitution of 1997, a promoter was  Rev. Piotr Stanisz hab. JCD, University Professor.

In 2011-2012 she took post-graduate studies in the field of designing dynamic Web pages.

 

Since 1th of October 2009, she was employed as an assistant at the Faculty of Law of the Sacraments and the Institutes of Consecrated Life. She fulfils the position of  secretary of the Department.

Since 2010, she is a member of the editorial board of "The Bulletin of the Association of Polish Canon Lawyers", since 2011 "The Bulletin of the Association of Graduates and Friends of the Faculty of Law at Catholic University".

 

In 2011/2012 she serves as Chair of the Admissions Committee for the students of the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration to assess the merits of applications for scholarships for the best students of the Rector.

 

The current scope of research:

  • participation of the lay faithful in the task of sanctifying;
  • legal relations between the Catholic Church and the state, with particular emphasis on the principle of co-operation.
