Anna Szachoń-Pszenny, PhD - Associate Professor

Anna Szachoń is a law graduate at the Catholic University of Lublin. She got her master's degree on the basis of the thesis entitled "The Control and Protection of Borders in the European Union" written under the supervision of dr hab. Artur Kuś. She completed her studies with the best grade in 2006. She participated in the works of University Law Counseling Service at the Catholic University of Lublin, in the administration and refugee section.  In the same year, she completed the postgraduate studies in the field of Ukrainian Law at the same university. Since 2007, she has been employed as a teaching assistant at the European Law Department. She is particularly interested in the issues of European Law development, entering Schengen zone by Poland, problems at the eastern boarder of the European Union, as well as in the joint area of freedom, security and justice. She also takes interest in the questions of the free market.
