The museum displays the collections connected with the history of KUL. These are: photographs, documents, fabrics, furniture.
The exhibition has been divided into thematic sections, presenting the history of KUL from its establishment till the present times:
- the beginnings of the University- founders,

- the history of KUL’s coats of arms,
- Rectors and Great Chancellors,
- Friends of KUL- benefactors and members of Friends of KUL Society,
- Students,
- The University history,
- Archival documents,
- Archival recordings,
- Holy Father John Paul II,
- Occasional medals,
- Silhouettes of distinguished persons (paper catalogue),
- Sports achievements,
- Cultural life.
The exhibition of collections is displayed by means of various methods of the presentation of showpieces and the history, i.e.:
- Traditional (objects placed in the glass show-cases or frames);
- Multimedia (virtual exhibitions in computer kiosks, sound recordings, short film projections: a projector and a screen);
- Paper catalogue.
