Grzegorz Pecka is a graduate of the Musicology Department (organs) of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and Choir Conductorship at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. Since 1998 he has been the conductor and artistic director of the Choir of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

He has participated in many international choir festivals and competitions in Poland and abroad, including Universitas Cantat, Poznań (1999-2002); Days of Choir Music, Lublin (1999, 2001, 2003); Coral 2000 San Juan, Argentina; ZIMRIYA 2001, Israel; Concerto Europeo dei Cori Universitari, Rome, Italy (2001); Festival of Orthodox Church Music Hajnówka 2003 (competition) - Third Prize and Hajnowka Days of Orthodox Church Music 2004 (competition) - First Prize; Musicateneo 2004 "Nuova Europa", Bologna, Italy; Festival of Organ and Chamber Music, Lezajsk (2004); International Competition of Choral Music "C.A. Seghizzi" in Gorizia, Italy (2006); International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music in Prague, Czech Republic (2006); Musica Coral VII Jornadas Internacionales and Festival Casa de Burgos, Spain (2005); International Festival „Las Tres Culturas", Murcia, Spain (2006, 2007), Festival Mundial Buenos Aires Coral, Buenos Aires, Argentina (2007), Festival Mundial de Coros, Puebla, Mexico (2008), Toscana Music Festival, Montecatini Terme, Italy (2012), International Festival of Choirs and Orchestras in Ohrid, Macedonia (2013), World Symposium on Choral Music in Seoul, South Korea (2014) and others.
Under his direction the choir has participated in many Polish and international tournées, including USA (1999), Chile (2000, 2003), Israel (2001), Slovenia (2001), Republic of South Africa (2003), Ukraine (2002, 2004), Italy (2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012), Germany (1997, 1998, 2002, 2005, 2009, 2011, 2015),  Czech Republic (2006), Spain (2005, 2006, 2007), Argentina (2000, 2007), Mexico (2008), Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey (2010), Australia (2011), France (2011, 2015), Macedonia (2013), South Korea (2014).
