The Department of Environmental Management Law has been operating in the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration since February 2001. From its very beginning until the end of 2006, the Department was headed by Stanisław Wrzosek, Hab. PhD, University Professor. On February, 15 2007, he was succeeded by Maciej Rudnicki, Hab. PhD, University Professor.

  • the system of environmental law, its development and relevance in the contemporary world
  • harmonisation of Polish environmental law with the laws of the European Union
  • evolution of legal and financial instruments in environmental protection
  • development of the concept of environmental taxes
  • formal and legal aspects of environmental risk of strategic investments
  • environmental aspects of investment in the power and fuel industry
