The Evolution of the Psychanalytic Hermeneutics of the Literary Work

Four consecutive method models of psychoanalytic interpretation of literature are presented. The first and second models have been inspired by the classical Freudian psychoanalysis. The third is influenced by Lacanian contribution, whereas the fourth one is being developed on the basis on American neo-psychoanalitycal thought of Erich Fromm.

The first model is understood as a transformation of unconscious desire into the phantasy which is verbalized in the shape of literary work. The second model approaches the literary work as a crystallization of unconscious structures of the mind, whereas the third one deals with phantasmal presentations of the subject. Finally, the fourth model is being introduced against the background of social unconsciousness which gives rise to the imergence of various idols. Thus, the literary work is analyzed here as an expression of the Idol.

Ewolucja psychoanalitycznej hermeneutyki dzieła literackiego

Autor prezentuje cztery kolejne modele psychoanalitycznej interpretacji literatury.
