History of the Department of Emotion and Motivation Psychology

 

Department of Emotion and Motivation Psychology was originally established in 1997. Previously it was a part of Department of Experimental Psychology. Due to the fact, that it was separated as an independent Department, a new office was assigned in the room C-511 in the College of John Paul II. The office is there till now. From the beginning, the head of the Department was prof. Zbigniew Zaleski.

 

During those few years in the Department of Emotion and Motivation Psychology, PhD and PhD students had worked, among others: Michał Janson, Phd; Celina Timoszyk - Tomczak, Phd; Dorota Borek-Chudek, PhD; Paweł Petrusewicz, MA; Anna Cycoń, MA; Agnieszka Dziubińska, MA; Paweł Koniak, MA; Ewa Bogusz MA; Katarzyna Jędruszczak, MA.

 

At present in the Department of Emotion and Motivation Psychology they work lecturers:

Agata Błachnio, PhD

Aneta Przepiórka, PhD

Małgorzata Torój, PhD

Paweł Kot, PhD.

 

 

The tradition of the Department of Emotion and Motivation Psychology is to organize cycling, National Scientific Conference CLOSER TO EMOTIONS. In 2017 years it will be the 7th edition of the conference.
