After presenting research of Rev. Prof. Henryk Misztal concerning canonized holines according to John Paul II, the Author at the beginning shows the importance of renewing the canonization procedure for the promotion of holiness (I). He then describes the effectiveness

of the 1983 Constitution and Norms, being in force, and reinforced by the Instruction Sanctorum Mater issued by Pope Benedict XVI and by the norms regarding the administration of the process funds and the rules for medical consulting committee issued by Pope Francis. The promotion of holiness through the practice of its public recognition (II) - reflects the statistics of beatification and canonization carried out by John Paul II during the 27 years of his pontificate. Their importance in the work of new evangelization and upbringing for holiness (III) is appreciated and developed by later popes.
