W eklezjologii trzeba mieć świadomość, że Kościół jest tajemnicą wiary, wyłaniającą się z misterium zbawienia w Jezusie Chrystusie, że „jest społecznym sakramentem zbawienia, przedmiotem wiary, źródłem sakramentów partykularnych, środowiskiem przekazu objawienia, niszą życia łaski – indywidualnej i społecznej, a następnie formą liturgii (leitourgia), służby wzajemnej (diakonia) i świadectwa chrześcijańskiego (martyria), a wreszcie jest podmiotem religijności, moralności, prawa, duchowości i całej Bożej „filantropii” (Tt 3,4), czyli miłości do ludzi.

Summary

In ecclesiology one has to be aware of the fact that the Church is a mystery of faith, emerging from the mystery of salvation in Jesus Christ; that it is a social sacrament of salvation, an object of faith, a source of particular sacraments, an environment of the tradition of the revelations, a niche of the life of grace – both individual and social, and later also a form of liturgy (leitourgia), mutual service (diakonia) and Christian testimony (martyria), and, finally, it is the subject of religiousness, morality, law, spirituality and the whole of God’s “philanthropy” (Titus 3:4) – the love for people.
