Language Lead with German is involved in localization projects and provides linguistic support to clients, project team and translation teams from all over the world.

 

Responsibilities:

  • supporting project teams in everyday language quality activities in multi-language  localization projects,
  • acting as a linguistic consultant for the team and clients,
  • creating support materials for translation teams such as glossaries and guides,
  • managing query database and answering queries from translators,
  • linguistic testing support,
  • ensuring that all the language tasks assigned to the teams meet the quality and customer requirements within the specified deadlines.

Requirements:

  • university degree (esp. Philology, Linguistics),
  • Flawless German and very good English  is a must, knowledge of any other languages will  be considered an asset,
  • knowledge of at least one of CAT tools will be an advantage,
  • highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows),
  • ability to learn new computer programs quickly,
  • capability to act under pressure in a dynamic working environment,
  • ability to cooperate with a team and vendors,
  • responsible and proactive approach to assigned tasks, accuracy and flexibility,
  • organization skills, ability to work in a systematic way and to deadlines,
  • experience in localization projects will be more than welcome.
