Academic Career:

2002-2007 - Law Studies, Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. MA thesis - "Działanie w obronie społecznie uzasadnionego interesu jako okoliczność uchylająca bezprawność naruszenia dóbr osobistych" written under the supervision of dr Jacek Widło. Studies completed with honours.

October 2007 – PhD studies in the Department of the European Union Law (under the supervision of Prof. dr hab. Artur Kuś)

2007/2008 - the KUL Rector’s scholarship

Since 1 October 2008 – Assistant in the Department of the European Union Law at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin

2011 - the KUL Rector’s Level IV Individual Award for all the scientific and teaching achievements and for the outstanding social and organizational activity and popularization of science

2011 - the KUL Rector’s Level IV Team Award for co-authorship of a significant textbook

Responsible for conducting classes (in Polish and English) on the European Union Law at the following Faculties: Law, Administration and European Studies.

 

University Functions:

Since 2008 - editor of the Department of the European Union Law website

          - Institutional Erasmus Coordinator (Europeistyka and European Studies)

Since 2009 - involved in the promotion of the Law Faculty

2009/2010 - a secretary of the Department of the European Union Law

2009-2010 - a member of the editorial board preparing a reference book of the Law Faculty and a coordinator of editorial work leading to the publishing of the above-mentioned book in English

 

Professional Experience:

Since 2006 - cooperation with the Rule of Law Institute – Foundation set up by Polish and American Lawyers

Since 2009 - Executive Director and the Vice President of the Board of the Rule of Law Institute
