Bóg ustanowił Jezusa w Jego przelaniu krwi przebłaganiem, dowodem na sprawiedliwość Bożą. Podmiotem jest Bóg. Sprawiedliwość Boża ukazuje się, gdy Bóg udowadnia ją w Jezusie. Paweł jest więc zdania, że w tym wydarzeniu Boga wyraża się niepojęta miłość człowieka (a nie sprawiedliwość sędziego, który osą-dza sprawę). Jest to przekonanie wiary, że krzyż jako objawienie sprawiedliwości
Bożej jest ostatecznym uniwersalnym ustanowionym przez Boga zbawieniem.

Summary

God appointed Jesus the proof of His justice by His pouring-out of blood through propitiation. God is the subject. God’s justice is visible when God proves it in Jesus. Paul is, therefore, of the opinion that in this event, God’s incomprehensible love for man is expressed (and it is not a judge-like justice during a trial). It is a conviction of faith that the cross, as the Revelation of God’s justice, is the ultimate, universal salvation constituted by God.
