Asystent w Katedrze Literatury i Kultury Angielskiej. Zajmuje się dramatem i teatrem angielskim, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem przekładu teatralnego. Prowadzi zajęcia z historii literatury angielskiej, literaturoznawstwa oraz praktycznej nauki języka angielskiego. Członek The International Harold Pinter Society [http://www.pintersociety.org/]. W wolnych chwilach tropi słuchowiska, czarno-białe filmy noir oraz pogłębia wiedzę o Wielkiej Brytanii w latach 50. XX w.

dr Łukasz Borowiec works in the Department of English and Commonwealth Literature. His research interests centre on English drama and theatre, with special emphasis on theatre translation. He teaches History of English Literature, Modern Drama and Theatre as well as a range of Practical English courses. He is a member of The International Harold Pinter Society [http://www.pintersociety.org/]. In his free time, he  is on the lookout for radio plays, black-and-white films noir and whatever he can find on the 1950s Britain.
