Black Literature and Culture (Year IV)
img_1865_400
The course examines the changing nature of African-American literature and culture, trying to establish links between various cultural utterances created in what was once considered a very esoteric environment and other, glocal, representations and appropriations of black culture. The texts include Toni Morrison's Beloved, Spike Lee's movies, rap and hip hop, but also such glocal texts as Dorota Masłowska's Wojna polsko-ruska... or the movie Nyocker.
