THE SUBTLE CHARM OF COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY

Development of cognitive psychology is considered in the light of personal construct theory as a special case of  Kelle`s constructive alternativism. Cognitive psychology at forst seemed to be a domain with a dominant paradigm, i. e. information processing theory. As evolution of Neisser`s views on cognitive psychology suggests there is no universal paradigm in this branch of psychology. Diversity of research and necessity of integration of cognitive psychology with science of affect offers new possibilities for the development of new cognitive psychology.
