Postclassicism and Fictional Forms of Knowing the World: “Satyricon” and “Metamorphoses”. Visual Re-readings
Professor of Aesthetics, Art Theory and Comparative Literature at the University of Brasília (UnB) Brazil, holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Literary Theory from the Russian State University for the Humanities (Moscow) and an M.A. in Slavic Languages and Cultures from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. His research focuses on the interplay of word and image in art, the survival of classical traditions in contemporary culture and visual-literary poetics from the Medieval to Renaissance periods.
