Review of European and Comparative Law
PEER REVIEW PROCEDURE
Starting from Volume XVIII (year 2013) the peer review procedure is organized according to the following rules:
1. The Editorial Board of the „Review of Comparative Law" conducts a preliminary evaluation of the manuscripts submitted for publication. The criteria that the Editors use ask if the manuscript is consistent with the comparative profile of the Review and if it meets language requirements for a publication in English.
2.Particular manuscripts are subject to review by our in-house editors and/or peer-reviewers recruited and/or recommended by the Scientific Council or the Editor-in-Chief. The Institutional affiliation of the reviewer must be different from the author's.
3. In the peer review procedure the Editorial Board guarantees that the Authors and Reviewers do not know their identity ("double-blind review process").
4. The reviews are submitted to the Editorial Board in writing. They must include concluding evaluation concerning the acceptability of a manuscript (its novelty and scientific importance).
The peer review procedure is conducted according to the guidelines announced by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. ("Dobre praktyki w procedurach recenzyjnych w nauce").
