Szczyt Cyfrowy – IGF ONZ 2021

The Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Education and Science invite you to participate in the 16th UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2021), which will be held from 6-10 December 2021 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. Participation in the Summit is free, all you need to do is register via http://www.igf2021.pl/. The organisers suggest registering promptly as the number of places is limited. The Digital Summit is a UN initiative initiating and enabling a global discussion on the development of digital space and the most current issues related to its functioning. Each year, it is attended by several thousand participants, including representatives of governments and international organisations, business representatives, along with the largest and best-known Internet companies, NGO activists as well as representatives of the scientific community, theoreticians and practitioners. This year's edition is dedicated above all to young people from all over the world, who to a large extent, make up the global Internet environment. Therefore the invitation to participate in the Summit is addressed especially to students and academic staff. One of the accompanying events of IGF 2021 will be the IGF Youth Summit. This is an ideal opportunity for young people to talk, in an international group, about the future of the digital space. During the Summit a special youth track is planned, a gala concert at the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) in Katowice, the opportunity to visit the Silesian Museum for one zloty and many other additional attractions. The participants of the Summit will be provided with free travel on public transport.
