Artificial Intelligence and transformations of the legal sector conference

 

Which will take place ONLINE on December 1st, 2020

 

This interdisciplinary conference will provide an opportunity for researchers to present and hear about the very best research and achievements in Artificial Intelligence and its intersections with the legal sector. The law is in many ways particularly conducive to the application of the possibilities provided by Artificial Intelligence. Machine learning and law operate according to similar principles and legal methodology is the type of activity to which machine intelligence can fruitfully be applied. Nevertheless, understanding the business value of technologies such as AI is essential to staying ahead of the competition.

 

The following topics will be presented:

  • Litigation prediction
  • Automatization of the legal process
  • Natural language processing
  • New lawyer’s role 
  • Legislating AI

 

Invited talks and keynotes will be presented by academics from around the world, including top institutions such as the University of Cambridge and the EDHEC Business School,

University of Melbourne, University of Coimbra and Stockholm University.
