Marietta Rusinek is a PhD candidate in the Department of Applied Linguistics at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland.  Her main research interests include cognitive linguistics, semantics and cognitive semiotics. She is currently writing her dissertation on metaphors in the domain of cooking techniques.
