Foundation and mission

The research group English as a foreign language for deaf and hard of hearing persons (EFL DHH) is an international group of researchers and teachers who work in the field of teaching foreign languages to deaf and hard of hearing persons.

Our mission is to support deaf and hard of hearing students in learning to communicate in English as a foreign language.

Teachers and researchers forming the EFL DHH team first worked separately in different parts of Europe. After a while our paths crossed and we started networking in 2010.
