1990  Award of the Minister of Science and Education for the book entitled „Personality Factors in the Artistic Achievements of the Students of Music”. Polish Academy of Sciences Press: Ossolineum, 1989.

 

1993–1995  A Humboldt Research Fellowship. Two academic years in the Institute of Psychology of the Ludwig–Maximilian University of Munich. Cooperation with the research team supervised by Prof. Kurt Heller.

 

2000–2001  A Fulbright Fellowship. One academic year spent at Yale University in the research team of Prof. R.J. Sternberg.

 

2006  Award "Services to the Polish Psychological Association".

 

2006  Medal of the Commission of National Education.

 

2007  Silver Cross of Merit.

 

2009  Award of the 1st Degree of the Rector of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

 

2009  "Laurels of the Century" of the Polish Psychological Association for presiding over the celebrations of the 100-th anniversary of the Polish Psychological Association.

 

2009   Diploma of the Rector of the University of Warsaw for co-authoring a book entitled Z badań nad pograniczem intelektu i osobowości (Studies of the Border between Intellect and Personality).
