Dr Luc Reydams, Professor of Law

 

 

Luc Reydams studied law at the Catholic University of Leuven (Lic. Juris) and the University of Notre Dame (LL.M  & JSD). He also earned a diploma in political and administrative science from the Université Catholique de Louvain. Since 2002 Luc teaches in the Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame and since 2011 he also teaches in the Center for European Studies at the Catholic University of Lublin. He has been a visiting Professor a number of times at the Catholic University of Leuven (Faculty of Law). Before his academic career Luc practiced law in Brussels. From September 2012 until June 2013 Luc is a fellow at the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences. In the past he has been a fellow at the Center for the Study of the Great Lakes Region of Africa (University of Antwerp), the Leuven Center for Global Governance Studies, and the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law. His research has been supported by the United States Institute of Peace.
