Ladies and Gentlemen,
John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin has the pleasure to announce and invite you to participate in the transnational project “PWP - Vocational training of neophilology KUL to the needs of the labor market” operated by the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in partnership with:

  • University of Paris 8 (France)
  • University of Haute-Alsace (France),
  • The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute (Russia),
  • The National University of Ostroh Academy (Ukraine),

within the framework of the Human Capital Operational Programme. The project will be implemented from March 1, 2014 until June 30, 2015.

Potential beneficiaries of the Project

The project is addressed to students and graduates of the Institute of Roman Philology, and the Institute of Slavic Philology at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, recipients outside the academic community of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, academics from around the country.

Objectives of the Project

The project aims to implement in the Institutes of Roman Philology and Slavic Philology a program which promotes the development of students, faculty, and people outside the academic community with a competence in foreign languages ​​for professional and educational use, and adapt an educational offer to the requirements of the labor market.

The project, in the academic year 2014/2015, will be completed by the following activities:

  • implementation of a new specialization at the Slavic Studies (Communication Media in Polish–Ukrainian Journalism),
  • organization of internships and specialized language courses for students of the Romance Philology and the Slavic Philology, students, and people outside the academic community KUL (within languages: Russian, French, Italian and Spanish) for the purpose of leading to a professional certificate of prestigious, international institutions: The Paris Chamber of Commerce, The Madrid Chamber of Commerce, University of Perugia, Certification Centre at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute in Moscow,
  • organization of internships and training for faculty staff.
