Rev. Dr. Andrzej Piwowar
Born on 30th of November 1970 in Szczytno. 1989 he entered Olsztyn High Seminary, where he studied philosophy and theology. He was ordained 27th of May 1995. In the years 1996-2001 he continued his biblical education at the Pontifical Biblical Institute (where he obtained a ThL degree in biblical studies), and 2001-2005 at the Pontifical Gregorian University, where on 7th March 2006 he defended his ThD thesis titled La vergogna come criterio della fama perpetua. Studio esegetico-teologico di Sir 40,1 - 42,14 come unita letteraria, directed by Fr. Prof. Maurice Gilbert SJ. In the same year he was given a position of a junior lecture in the Chair of Theology of New Testament in the Institute of Biblical Studies at the CUL in Lublin. He teaches morphology of the Biblical Greek.
