The Next Generation

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions home pageMarie Sklodowska-Curie - Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) | Støtte til eksternfinansierte prosjekter (BOA) | UiB

The Perception and Cognition Laboratory at the Department of Experimental Psychology, represented by Dariusz Zapała, has received funding as part of the renowned Horizon EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Doctoral Network program, as a member of a consortium of 29 international research units from 11 European countries and Japan.
The project will support an interdisciplinary approach to brain-computer interface (BCI) research by training 14 doctoral students as the next generation of BCI experts.
Participation in the project means that KUL psychology staff and doctoral students will have the opportunity to conduct joint research with leading research centres within the network, as well as to participate in workshops, conferences, and summer schools, allowing them to expand their knowledge of modern methods for recording brain activity.

Brain Days Anniversary

Together with the Student Neuroscience Association, we’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of Brain Days at our university! In between popular science lectures, we took time to reminisce about past editions and enjoy some celebratory cake!
Darek Zapała gave a special lecture on the possibility of controlling electronic devices using brain waves in extraterrestrial conditions. To boldly go where no man has gone before!
