  • Wszystko było idealne. Nauczyciele byli bardzo profesjonalni. Chciałabym podkreślić pracę pani lektorki, która włożyła wiele wysiłku w nasz rozwój, abyśmy jeszcze bardziej zainteresowali się językiem polskim.
    Oprócz kursów językowych bardzo podobały mi się warsztaty tańca i wycieczki.

 

  • I loved getting to meet new people from all backgrounds while also becoming closer to the culture of the Polish community as whole. I loved my roommates and my teacher and all of it together has truly made me want to continue my studies in the Polish language.

 

  • Bardzo podobało mi się poznawanie tak wielu wspaniałych nowych ludzi. Moja nauczycielka języka polskiego była bardzo zaangażowana, a lekcje były tak dobrze zorganizowane, że kurs sprawiał mi ogromną przyjemność. Bardzo podobał mi się również program kulturalny, na przykład taniec.

 

  • Teaching was extremely productive and during class I have never felt bored. I loved the teacher, she was excellent, energetic, positive, supportive, open to explain complexities with the ease.

 

  • I loved how the course wasn’t just about the classes, everyone was integrated into activities so my time was filled.

 

  • Excellent organization of everything by KUL and excellent teaching level of the teacher.

  • Najbardziej podobało mi się to, że mogłem mieszkać przez miesiąc w polskim mieście Lublin, chodzić codziennie na zajęcia z języka polskiego na uniwersytecie, brać udział w zajęciach pozalekcyjnych i poznawać ludzi z całego świata, a także używać języka polskiego na co dzień.

 

  • The time in the Polish language classes and the trips to Zamość, Sandomierz, and Kozłówka.

 

  • The teacher did a very good job encouraging and guiding her students to learn the language. She provided supplemental grammar materials which the workbook failed to provide and explain.

 

  • Everything about the course was great, the fact the food served to us was Polish, the location of the dormitories, the trips. I do not know what the other classes looked like but mine was exceptional. However, I think the biggest upside was getting to know so many people from all over Europe.

  • I cannot single out any one element, there was so much to enjoy. The staff, both organizational and teaching, were amazing. I now have a much clearer understanding of the language, especially the grammar, which was what I most desired and needed. I also learned a great deal about Polish history from professors I could listen to for countless more hours. The social events (in particular, dancing) were fantastic, and I have never made so many, or such great, friendships as during this month in Lublin.

 

  • It is rare to find other people who are learning Polish, but being around other people every day and practicing with them, helping each other, was incredibly valuable. I can't believe the whole experience was free and learning the language has genuinely changed my life.

 

  • The organizers took excellent care of us. Everything was planned. All the staff were friendly and knew what they were doing.

 

  • I liked getting to learn about Poland from so many different perspectives: language, culture, history, etc. I feel quite attached to the country due to the well-rounded nature of the program.

I think that the element I enjoyed the most was the pairing of the roommates. I know that this might seem like a superficial thing, but it was so nice to be paired up with someone with a Polish-American background like me. I do not have many friends like this back home and it was so nice to finally be really understood in this regard. We had very fulfilling intellectual conversations about our growing up and how that experience impacts us now. We also bonded a lot over our studies and how we hope to incorporate our Polish-American identity into our future studies.

What I liked most was that they showed us old cities and historic sites, dance lessons and games that were held every Friday! It was magical, I will never forget this month spent in Lublin!

What I liked most was the surroundings and the ability to be immersed in Polish culture. I feel that my confidence in speaking Polish has increased greatly from the level it was at before the course.
