4.Your personal experience/what did you like about your mobility/what did you gain thanks to it?

I had a great experience in KUL. The agenda met all my requirements. I had a lot of meetings, sharing ideas activities. I liked very much the fact that the agenda was including a lot of students and staff activities, including the city tour. I managed to know better the University, divisions of tasks and as well their experience and great work regarding international relations.

5. Why would you recommend it to others?

I would highly recommend it to others.

3.Why did you decide to apply in the Erasmus+ programme?

Erasmus+ offers the most comprehensive chance in all respects– at one week, it allows for enough time to get to know the partner institution, for exchange of ideas and practices, a to learn a bit of the social/ cultural background of the city and the university. At the same time, it is not too long since a longer stay from our own workplace is not practicable. By comparison, the minimum two-week limit on the Mevlana exchange makes it nearly impossible for any of our staff to take part in it, for example. Also, it allows for experiencing different approaches, methodologies and outlooks, which helps one to compare and contrast with their home institution. I came away with ideas to better our own practices, but I am not the only one.

4. Your personal experience/what did you like about your mobility/what did you gain thanks to it?

The reason I had chosen to visit KUL was that in the course of our mobility partnership, we as an office were greatly impressed by their professionalism and foresight, and wanted benefit from their institutional experience. I had the chance to ask many of the questions we had as a partner institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and get clear answers that we could rely on, as practice is very different to theory and we have many partners with much less proficiency in the actual running of KA107 projects. When looking to build our own practices and working ethics, we wanted this kind of input from a solid partner, and gained what I had hoped in clarifying our questions.

5. Why would you recommend it to others?

For the reasons I had stated above, I would strongly recommend Kul for other mobility partners and look forward to strengthening our partnership in the future.

3. Why did you decide to apply in the Erasmus+ programme?

The Erasmus+ program provides an excellent opportunity for faculty and staff from Delta State University (DSU) to travel to and learn about John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). I would not have had the opportunity to strengthen the partnership between DSU and KUL otherwise.

4. Your personal experience/what did you like about your mobility/what did you gain thanks to it?

My Erasmus+ experience at KUL greatly surpassed my expectations. The communication before and the coordination of my visit were excellent and made my travels smooth. The week at KUL was wonderful: the Erasmus+ staff were professional and responsive to my interests and questions; the campus was friendly and welcoming; and the agenda was the perfect balance of Erasmus+ informational training and cultural activities. Thanks to this Erasmus+ mobility, I am able to effectively and knowledgably promote KUL and the Erasmus+ program. This was an amazing opportunity, and I am grateful for my experience.

5. Why would you recommend it to others?

I give the Erasmus+ program my highest recommendation. Mobilities provide opportunities for travel and networking with a wide variety of university staff and students. Any staff member would experience unparalleled professional and personal growth thanks to Erasmus+.
