Honorary Doctorates

Jan Paweł II wręczenie dhcThe doctor honoris causa is the highest academic degree awarded by the Senate of the Catholic University of Lublin to people of particular achievements in the field of science, religion or culture. In the history of the Catholic University of Lublin over a hundred people have received it. They include people of the Church, scientists, animators of culture and politicians. A special place among the title holders is Pope John Paul II, who received an honorary doctorate in 1983.
