NEW ADMISION OPEN FOR THE YEAR 2010/2011

New Extraordinary Promotion!

Due to the fact, that the process of obtaining visa takes a long time we encurage all applicants to apply as soon as possible.

During the academic year 2010/2011 students can apply to the first-cycle Bachelor's degree philosophy programme delivered in English.

By August 30th, the applicants should submit the following documents via e-mail or via s-mail:

s-mail

  • KUL's personal inquiry form;
  • a photocopy of the certificate of secondary education (High School Diploma/General Certificate of Secondary Education) entitling to enrol for studies in the country of one's residence;
  • a certificate confirming the command of English [The list of certificates confirming the command of English];
  • a photocopy of the applicant's passport (foreigners) or identity card (Polish citizens);
  • four color photographs (35 x 52 mm);
  • one addressed envelope without a stamp.

e-mail

  • KUL's personal inquiry form;
  • a scan of the certificate of secondary education (High School Diploma/General Certificate of Secondary Education) entitling to enrol for studies in the country of one's residence;
  • a scan of a certificate confirming the command of English [The list of certificates confirming the command of English];
  • a scan of the applicant's passport (foreigners) or identity card (Polish citizens);
  • a scan of a color photograph (*.jpg format, at least 236 x 295 pixels).

By October 1st at the very latest the applicant should send (s-mail or in person only):

  • four color photographs (35 x 52 mm) (only if the photographs were not send by s mail with other application documents)
  • the original certificate of secondary education (High School Diploma/General Certificate of Secondary Education) which entitles to enrol for studies in the country of one's residence; applicants should make sure that their documents will be accepted abroad through the obtainment of an Apostille or Consular Legalization;
  • Polish sworn translation of the original certificate of secondary education (High School Diploma/General Certificate of Secondary Education);
  • Medical Certificate confirming the applicant's ability to undertake university studies [Medical Certificate for Candidates for Study at The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin ];
  • valid Baptismal Certificate (only Christians);
  • Letter of Recommendation from the Church authorities (only clergymen);
  • Certificate confirming Polish descent issued by Polish Consulate (only the applicants of Polish descent).

KUL will mediate in the recognition process as long as the certificate of secondary education (High School Diploma/General Certificate of Secondary Education) needs to be recognized by Polish educational authorities as an equivalent of Polish certificate of secondary education.

By October 30th, at the very latest the applicant has to submit:

  • visa or provisional residence permit or any other document entitling to stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland;
    • Please contact the nearest Polish embassy for information on what documentation you may require to enter Poland,
  • health and accident insurance valid during the applicant's stay in Poland or the European Health Insurance Card or the document confirming that the applicant registered at the National Health Insurance Fund. The University helps to obtain those documents. The insurance can be purchased in the student's native country or in one of the Polish insurance companies.
