  • MA: 2005 master’s degree at Catholic University of Lublin under Prof. Urszula M. Mazurczak, PhD guidance, Department of the European Medieval History at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

  • Netherlands painting of late Medieval. “Mary with infant Jesus” iconography in Medieval art enters in contemporary religiousness and customs. Painting compositions presents matters combining sacred symbolism and elements bearing testimony of profane culture influence on the world presented in the paintings. Themes embedded in expositions require interdisciplinary researches, which integrate such studies as: history of art, spirituality and material culture of the epoch.
  • Researches conducted within the framework of preparing Ph.D. thesis. Direction of researches covers the profile of Department of Knowledge of the Art which assume, among other things, wide-ranging context analysis of the work of art, seeking relations between art and epoch.

Professional experience

  • From October 2006 Junior member of research staff at Department of Knowledge of the Art of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
  • Conducting classes on specialisations: cultural studies and history of art.

  • June 2005 – September 2005 Occupational practiceship in Städel Museum in Frankfurt on Men River.
