The Department of Media Workshop and Axiology conducts research on journalistic workshop and axiology (mainly in reference to values and evaluation of media works) in the context of television, the Internet, press, and film.

Our research finds media communication to be a complex process that requires students and media receivers to acknowledge different areas of media studies - from journalistic rhetoric, through creative writing, analysis and interpretation of media works, linguistics, stylistics, self-presentation in from of the camera, to contemporary world and national literature – as essential to being a proficient and critical media producer and reader.

Our aim is to highlight the importance of combining media theory with practical workshop.
