In our team we conduct research in the field of natural and cultural landscape preservation, environmental protection, nature conservation, as well as landscape ecology.
We conduct research concerning:
- the relationship between plants and herbivorous insects,
- the importance of animals in the urban landscape and their impact on the condition of urban vegetation,
- natural and anthropogenic elements of the urban and open landscape and their role in local development,
- landscape valorization,
- possibility of improvements the model for detecting objects on satellite images using Deep Learning and GIS,
- the landscapes dynamics using ALS data and GIS, FORKOME, CELLAUT, STELLA programs,
- European bison biology.
