• the interpretation of the texts of legislative acts promulgated for catholic oriental Churches
• the particular law of catholic oriental Churches sui iuris
• the western law and the oriental canon law in comparison
• the pastoral care of oriental Catholics in the “western” context
• the teaching of the oriental catholic canon law in the western Church educational institutions
