Marcin Szewczak, PhD, Hab., Associate Professor in the Department of the Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin, Poland. He holds degrees from  law (John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin), international relations (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin), Master Course in European Studies and Global Affairs (Catholic University of Saint Heart in Milan and Peter Pazmany Catholic University in Budapest).

 

He was Visiting  Professor of the  Peter Pazmany Catholic University in Budapest (2006,2007) and  the University in Ljubljana (2007,2008, 2011, 2012). Graduated course of the Hungarian language in the Katedra Nyelviskola in Budapest. Member of the team to realize the Erasmus Intensive Programe 2012-2013;  Challenges in Public Administration in the European Union, on the University in Ljubljana.

 

He is especially interested in:

European Administrative Space, Eastern Public Administration, Triangular Networks in Public Administration, EU Administrative Law

cooperation between public administration and local self government in the area of agriculture and rural developments areas,

cooperation between public administration and local self government in the area of health care law.

 

Currently is a member of the Research Network on EU Administrative Law ReNEUAL (www.reneual.eu) and Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA).
