Tomasz Balawajder, MA - PhD Candidate

Tomasz Balawajder is a graduate from the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. In 2010 he defended his MA thesis entitled "Dematerialization of shares" written under supervision of dr hab. Andrzej  Herbet, University Professor, at the commercial law seminar and graduated legal studies with the best grade. Tomasz Balawajder also competed education at the Centre for American Law organized by Chicago-Kent College of Law and KUL. In addition, he also studied law at Comenius University in Bratislava. He is a finalist of the Polish round of “Philips C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition” and of “Law Games 2010 Competition”. He gained experience in Polish and international law firms and also as a trainee in the European Parliament in Brussels.

 

Research interest: commercial negotiations and mediation, international arbitration, capital markets law, commercial companies law.
