About Departament

 

The Department of Economic Policy was founded in 1982. Currently the head of Department is professor Paweł Marzec.

 

Research interests of our employees focus, among others, on the following issues:

 

• non-profit sector, international economic relationships, theory and practice of economic policy, state economic safety, marketing security;
• mathematical methods applied in the modeling of: production systems, state and regional economic development processes, marketing, informational and financial systems;
• macroeconomic topics as: transformational problems of Polish economy, globalization, financial markets;
• economic science and economic policy in the light of  the Catholic social teaching; 
• economic policy in East-Central Europe, economic integration processes in Europe, international trade.
