CERTIFICATE PROGRAM ON LAWYERING IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST

 

The purpose of the Certificate Program on Lawyering in the Public Interest is to educate selected law students on the role of a lawyer in a democratic society and give them the skills needed to act in the public interest as a legal professional in their careers. Participants will complete 16 hours of interactive course instruction and at the end receive a certificate from the Rule of Law Institute and the Center for Advancing Legal Skills from the Catholic University of Lublin. The Course will be held in English. The course fee is sponsored by a grant from the US Embassy in Poland.

 

Law Students in their third, fourth or fifth year of studies and law graduates who have graduated no longer than 2 years ago will be eligible to apply. Students must have good English understanding and communication skills.

Practical workshops will be held in Lublin and scheduled on Saturdays:

March 20th and 27th and April 3rd, 2021.
