Projekty osobiste to inaczej zamierzenia i plany osoby. Twórcą koncepcji analizy projektów osobistych jest Brian Little. Projekty osobiste stanowią rozciągające się w czasie i przestrzeni zestawy osobiście znaczących działań rozgrywających się w zewnętrznym kontekście (fizycznym, społecznym, kulturalnym).
Aktualnie razem z moimi studentami realizuję projekt badawczy dotyczący relacji między pozytywną orientacją życiową a efektywnością realizacji projektów osobistych w sferze zawodowej i rodzinnej. Interesuje nas na ile siła wewnętrzna, jaką daje pozytywna orientacja oraz przekonanie o własnej skuteczności, pomaga w realizacji osobistych celów.

Goal-Related Affect, Positive Orientation, and Engagement in Personal Goal Realization, referat wygłoszony na European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology Small Group Meeting “Advances in the Psychology of Entrepreneurship“, Sheffield, 29 czerwca-1 lipca 2012.
Summary
This paper evaluates, from a multilevel perspective, the relative contribution of positive affect, negative affect, and positive orientation to engagement in personal goal realization in the family and work domains. Participants were 205 adults – employed and married or having a stable partner. The results of multilevel structural equation modeling show that positive affect and positive orientation sustain individuals’ striving to achieve particular goals, whereas high levels of negative affect is negatively related to personal investment in goal realization. The contribution of positive affect to engagement in family goals can be further strengthened by positive orientation, both at the individual level and at the goal level.
