Eduardo Bernot PhD jest Kierownikiem Studiów Tomistycznych Jana Pawła II w Holy Apostles College and Seminary, Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. Stopień doktora otrzymał w 2020 roku (Summa cum laude) na Uniwersytecie Abat Oliba, Barcelona, Hiszpania, na podstawie 1400 stronicowej dysertacji. Rozprawa ta nosi tytuł: Pierwsze zasady matematyki w świetle św. Tomasza z Akwinu.

 

Oprócz tej pracy opublikował: Las ciencias matemáticas frente al De nominum analogia, w: „Espíritu” LXVII (2018) nr 156, s. 435-471. W maju 2021 roku wygłosił cykl wykładów na temat The Foundations of Mathematics dla Society of Medieval Logic and Metaphysics na University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, USA. Od wielu lat dr Bernot jest aktywnym członkiem Instytutu Adler-Aquinas, grupy Aquinas Leadership International oraz Aquinas School of Leadership.

 

The classes are 30 hours in total, so there will be 6 classes (45 minutes each) each day from Monday (23 May) to Friday (27 May).

They will start from:

 

• 9.00 am. - 12.10 (1st part)

• 1.30 - 3.00 pm. (2nd part).

The schedule of classes will still be decided with Professor Bernot once he is in place. To obtain ECTS credits, there will be some form of pass (perhaps an oral interview). Everything is still to be arranged with the Professor. If someone does not want a grade, they will not have to take an exam. We will still discuss this with the Professor in class.
